The area around the log lean-to is a temple for the sounds of the nature. I t was handbuilt from massive logs in the early 2000s, so it works as a large carbon sink. These big logs create a feeling of security; you will enjoy the light created by the campfire, as well as the warmth and sounds of it. The big rocks and the presence of Lake Päijänne awake the secret tales inside of you and your company at the campfire. You might not want to go to sleep just yet, as the excitement and feeling of the night in the forest might be something you want hold on to as long as you can.
The place is available for 8-10 people all year around. The breakfast can be enjoyed, if purchased, at the log-lean to or at the Main Building. We recommend taking "shower" at the lake Päijänne when the ice has melted. There is also an egolocical dry toilet next to the place.
One night stand includes for 100€:
• drinking water
• water for hand wash
• toilet paper
• camp mattress
• cleaning of the area before your stay
Max. 10 people for the night.
You can bring your own equipment for sleeping, and for meals. You can also rent a sleeping bag, equipment for meals and even a campfire meal or a breakfast at the old hut. Also, cleaning is possible to purchase.
Please leave the place, the surroundings and equipment in a clean state. Please recycle the waste: plastic, metal, paper and such.
