You'll get a picnic lunch in your backpack when you set off on your camping trip. First you hike on a gravel road with few cars on it. The roadside scenery is wooded with pine, spruce, and birch trees.
On one side of the trail you can see Haukkavuori and on the other the Lake Päijänne. Out of respect for the excursion and the natural beauty of the area, you will stop talking. Get yourself together and tune in to the experiences you will have on the trail.
The way to the top is a forest path along the backside. At the top, you will be met with a breathtaking view of Lake Päijänne. You feel like flying over the forest to the lake. Huge rocks challenge you to climb higher and higher.
Fall in love and wonder. Sit down or lie down. Listen to the silence, feel the power of the mountain. The Lake Päijänne is near, below you. You know, water is the element of the subconscious, of love and emotion? You are one with the nature around you.
Enjoy your picnic, rest, and don't mind falling asleep. I'll wake you from your sleep and also from a fairytale-like atmosphere.

Availability: all year round. However, not if there is more than 30 cm of snow or if there is a downpour or thunderstorm. In addition, exceptions are made for public holidays such as Christmas, New Year, Easter and Midsummer.
