Traditional Finnish Sauna by lake Päijänne
€300.00 / 3 h

Let the unique, soft steams of sauna relax your mind and body." Susanna

The stove of the sauna gets heated by wood and gives the steam in the traditional Finnish way. The sauna building is made traditionally of logs.

Have breaks and take a dip into the lake Päijänne and be inflatuated by the view from the large patio. At dusk, the non-electric sauna and patio are illuminated with lanterns.

Between the steams and warmth cool up at the lake Päijäne and be amazed about the amazing view that opens up from the patio. While the evening gets darker the non-electric sauna and patio is being lightened with lanterns.

The culmination of the sauna experience is the self-made birch whisk, with which you can gently hit yourself on the back.

The sauna accommodates up to six persons, while the lake can have plenty more.

For us sauna is a holy place. The holiness is especially the silence, going deep inside yourself and notifying the elf of the sauna.

The habit has always been that men go to the sauna first, and then women before the sun goes down. After that is turn of the elf of the sauna. If you are the last one, please put some wood in the heater. Women, men, mixed, however – the last one is always the elf.

Traditional Finnish sauna handmade from logs represents wonderful sustainable and responsible actions and Finnish sauna tradition. You will also pump up the water to the sauna by yourself, very economic indeed.
